#HAPPYxCOOL EXHIBITION

Pioneering the reawakening from the pandemic lock-down.

Bangkok’s ATTA ‘N’ ATTA Art Space is hosting a special exhibition on happiness. The exhibition features a new book release, author readings, classical music and the exhibition of drawings on 25 September – 6 November 2021,

The Thai-German author couple, Sara Wong and Rudolf Beger, launch and read from their richly illustrated guidebook on happiness entitled #HAPPYxCOOL: Happiness in Relationships and at Work.(https://penguin.sg/book/happyxcool/) published by the world’s No. 1 publishing house Penguin Random House.

HAPPYxCOOL is refreshingly different from conventional ‘happiness’ publications also because the authors do not resort to philosophy, psychology, or esotericism. They do not pretend to know the ultimate way to happiness. Instead, the authors remain ‘down to earth’ and propose a pragmatic approach based on the principles of ‘coolness’ that will help people to remove imposed and self- imposed barriers from their mind which prevent them from being free and truly happy.

At the occasion of the book launch, ATTA ‘N’ ATTA Art Space exhibits some of Rudolf’s cartoon- style drawings which he used to illustrate #HAPPYxCOOL (www.eipops.com). At first view, Rudolf’s drawings may look naïve. But when taking a closer look, the observer will discover that they are meticulously executed, emphasising detail with fine strokes, and full of hidden mockery and irony.
